Happy Halloween

I don't love holidays because it means extra work for me and having to go places. But, when you have kids, that is what you do. So, we had three events this Halloween. These are in reverse order because I forgot how the pictures show up and I am too lazy to rearrange them.

October 31, 2009 - Halloween!

Tayson - Wolverine
Kamri - 50's Poodle Skirt Cutie
Jaxson - Cow
Aubree - Butterfly
Kamri and Aubree mouthing the word "Cheese"

It is Bryson's Birthday on Oct 31 so we went to his party earlier in the day.
Kamri, Mylee, Bryson, Tayson

After all that Trick-or-Treating, Kamri needed a snack ... at 10 o'clock at night

She thinks she is very funny!

Trunk-or-Treat for Ridgeview Ward:
Our church ward had a chili feed the night before Halloween.
And when they said they needed someone to taste every single chili there, of course I stepped up to the task ...after I had eaten my first bowl. Needless to say, I was a little full afterwards.
Kamri stayed in side for some of the trunk-or-treating to dance and play.

Treating at the trunks of cars!

Someone (Bryce) needs to buy me a new camera for Christmas.
Here we are lined up for the costume parade.

Pre-Trunk or Treat.
Yes, that's TWO boys and one girl.

PARTY AT THE WAGARS
And finally, the party that Catie made me host. Catie, being too prego to host herself, so craftily convinced me to have people over for pumpkin carving and food.
Here are the kids L-R: Grady and Ella Swinburnson, Jaxson McEwen, Tayson Wagar, Aubree Harkins, Kamri Wagar, and Will McKennon in front

Tayson hard at work!

The main event - dipped caramel apples with choose your own toppings. So the caramel slid off and all the candy toppings pooled at the bottom. They still tasted delicious!
We'll try a better recipe next year.

Family Portraits

My fabulous, amazing, intelligent, hot (see picture at end), slightly crazy bff came to visit from AZ and decided to give our family an amazing gift - family photos in a beautiful vineyard. She was able to capture our family perfectly. Thank you so much Heather. We all love you and wish you were here all the time.

You're Welcome Marvel Comics Mechandising Division

And for the most recent birthday bash...Tayson turned 4!

You know a kid likes the shirt you got him when he HAS to put it on right then and there. All his favorite characters, wrapped up in one shirt. PERFECT!

Ava, does your dad happen to be a photographer? You posed so quickly and surely when I said SMILE.

Oh Lila, rootbeer and cake. Where was your mother when all this was taking place?? (J/K Libbie)

There's our little Princess. Bow ripped out of her hair, in the dirt in her beautiful little dress.

Brooks flew all the way from Arizon to celebrate Tayson's birthday ... and help him open presents!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYSON!

You've come a long way baby!

KAMRI TURNED ONE ...on June 16. So I'm a little late, sue me! Here's the happy birthday girl now ... and a slighly odd looking newborn 11 1/2 months ago. But we loved her anyway!

One of her favorite things, her princess crown. This was actually a baby shower gift but I put it on her for her birthday and she loved it. She will wear it around the house whenever she finds it in the last place she threw it. She also loves necklaces. But don't be fooled, this girlie girl also knows how to wrestles ... she has two brothers after all.

Party Goers:
Cousin Mylie
Best Gal Pal Aubree
Kamri Girl
Cousin Jaxson

Her very own cake!

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAMRI!

Trip To Colorado

We took a week and a half trip to Colorado to visit relatives. Here are some highlights:

First Airplane Ride

Kamri's First Flight. Actually Tayson's First Flight too!
Kamri was a little monster. She hates to fall asleep when she is not in her crib and it took three flights to get there (SUCKED!) and the flight home was delayed after we boarded for an hour (SUCKED AGAIN!).

But Tayson's quote was priceless: When asked how he liked flying in the plane, Tayson's response was: "I want to fall into the clouds and see who catches me."

ZOO

We went to the Portland Zoo with all the aunts and cousins. This was supposed to show how big the Polar Bear is compared to all the kids but whoever was taking the picture didn't get that concept. Anyway, it does show the size difference of all the cousins. Tayson looks like giant compared to the smaller kids and Kamri is still tiny because her 8 month old cousin is as tall as her and a little thicker.

We love giraffes!

Don't let this picture fool you. Blake was having a blast! (Not really). But he was a good sport. Thank goodness for iPods for teenage boys who have to hang out with their family.

FOURTH OF JULY
We went to a BBQ and swimming at my cousin Russ's girlfriend's parent's house!

I may look like nice weather in the pictures but it eventually started to down pour. In Colorado it doesn't just rain, it is just short of a monsoon. There was so much water that it started pooling on the sides of the street. Eventually, the youngans (the early twenty-somethings) took the plastic crocodiles in the pictures and road them down the road!

Me and my cousin Angie.
Kamri and Owen.
- Sorry for the inappropriately exposed shoulders on my innocet baby girl. She is so little that the swimming suit didn't fit her. We eventualy found a safety pin.

Of course, we got matching outfits for all the little counsins to take a great photo. And of course, with two babies, a toddler, 3 year old, and 7 year old, this was about the best picture we got. Good try those Leslie!
Here is our 4th of July Red, White, and Blue family shot.
Finally, the whole fam damily!

JUMPSTREET

This was Blake and Bryce's favorite thing we did on the trip. They went by themselves one day and liked it so much we brought the whole family back. We really need something like this is K-town!
