Four Wheeling Fun!

The title of this blog is a little deceiving. I do not actually have fun four wheeling. It scares me to death. I personally don't like to be driving the four wheeler because I don't feel confident that I will be able to handle it properly. I have only been 2 or 3 times ever. I don't like it when Blake goes because I am scared he is going to get lost or hurt. And I don't like it when Bryce goes because he does crazy stuff and claims you can't really get hurt on a four wheeler unless you are being stupid. So I have decided that I will not be going with the boys very often in the future because it is just too stressful. However, I did get a couple of pictures when we were at Juniper Dunes this weekend.

Here's Tayson and his cousin Bryson trying to break sticks over their knees for the fire.

Here's Kamri and I sitting nice and safe back at camp.

And here is the reason I get freaked out about four wheeling. Bryce must have been being stupid because he flipped his four wheeler. He claims he wasn't even going that fast and it was a new four wheeler that he was not used to. He got a nasty scrape on his arm and leg.
Not only was a scared because he had flipped it but he had originally left camp with Tayson and I thought he had flipped it with Tayson on it. However, a few agonizing minutes later Blake came back with Tayson and said they had just transfered Tayson to him before Bryce flipped. However, somehow his glasses got broken...that one is still a mystery???

I'm back!

I realize it has been a while, but cut me some slack, I just had a baby. My beautiful bouncing baby girl has decided that she will only sleep and/or be content by being held. Needless to say, it is a little hard to blog holding a baby in my arms. But I have managed to steal a couple minutes today to try to post. This may be the longest blog ever due to the extended time frame I am covering.

Here's some highlights since she as born:

We went to Lake Chelan a couple days after we got home from the hospital. I know it sounds crazy but I was doing house work and laundry at home so I thought it would be more relaxing to go away.

Jake's kids were in town for about 4 weeks. The kids spent lots of time together.

L-R: Dion (holding Kamri), Jaron, Genoa, Tayson

What is summer time without hanging out at the pool and river?? We continue to spend lots of time at Libby's pool. We have also gone out the the river with Papa Bob's new boat (although Kamri and I stay on shore).

Here is Kamri and Lila Fairchild, lounging at the pool. Lila is 3 months older than Kamri. (Sorry the picture is turned sideways - I still maintain that I am blogger illiteriate)

We had to get Kamri a straw hat to match Bryce and Tayson's. It's a little big. I'm sure it will fit next year too!

Back from boating with Gramma and Grampa.

For the 3rd of July we went over to Randy Johnson's house for fun by the pool and a little pre-4th of July celebration. Tayson found out that he will sink to the bottom of the pool without his life jacket on.

Signing off for now, but I will try to keep up on my blog from now on as I recently discovered a few tricks to keeping her asleep without constantly holding her. Among them, the Papasan swing (when it is working), tight swadling, and passing her off to someone else. Here's one last cute picture of Kamri in her Sunday best!
