Tuesday Night Lights!

Blake was so excited for his first game under the lights. He played Stevens Middle School at Edgar Brown Stadium tonight. This was his third game of the season.
How cute is he??? I don't really understand the one glove but I assume there is some purpose to it :)

This is Blake after the game. He scored three touchdowns, kicked two extra points, and had many great tackles. He actually got into the end zone four times, but one got taken back because of blocking in the back. After the game, Tayson gave him some pointers on how he could tackle better (I am serious, Tayson actually took Blake's leg and told him "You should hold on to their leg and take them to the ground like this")

Blake's cheering section (all the way to back to Bryce's uncle with the black hat)

This is as much zoom as I got with my camera. However, this is Blake's first touchdown of the game. Last game he almost got a penalty for thowing the ball down after his touchdown. This game he was very careful to place it down on the ground. We are so proud of him!

Slap Face

That's What She Said ...

I LOVE THE OFFICE. Some may say I am a little obsessed with it. Odds are if you are around me enough you will hear me say "that's what she said". Only rarely does it apply to what is being said but I will say it anyway. When children are around, I try to say it under my breath but I still say it. I have season one, two and three and watch at least one episode a night before I go to bed. Most of the time it is 2-3 episodes. I have watched them so many times that I don't need to actually see the t.v. screen to know what is going on so I feel ok closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep every night. Now season four is out and Bryce won't let me buy it until it is at least down in price to $25.00 ... so if any one sees it on sale somewhere let me know. Needless to say, I am so excited for Thursday. Season premier. Good thing Bryce has the night off because I will be ignoring my children for the whole two hour show.

I couldn't figure out how to post the video of Slap Face to this blog so it is right after this. This was a little diddy that was played during the Olympics. I have watched it about 20x but I still think it is hilarious. Thanks Libbie and Damon for introducing me to The Office.

Blake turns 13!!

We now officially have a teenager in our house. Although, he has been acting like one for many years. We had a small family get together on Saturday. His cousins came over. Blake introduced them to a little game called "Polish Ping Pong". Apparently it is regular ping pong but when you lose a point, the winner gets to hit the ball has hard as humanly possible at the other person's bare chest. Only teenage boys are stupid enough to play this game. And while I would like to say that I didn't know about this until it was over, Bryce and I both watched the game happen and laughed our butts off when one of the boys would get hit. They broke 4 balls during their game. This is why we built a basement!

Kyle, Cameron, and Blake

Couple good ones on Kyle.

They got a couple good ones on Blake.

Cameron was the obvious loser.
And yes, those are welt marks from a little plastic ping pong ball.

Thank goodness for little girls! Here's cute Kamri, happy Kamri (with cousin Jaxson) and Crazy Hair Kamri!

Kamri's Blessing

Kamri was blessed on September 7, 2008 by her daddy. All of Bryce's family was there and so was my mom. She looked beautiful in her long white blessing gown. I am so thankful for my little girl and my cute little family!

Tayson turned 3 on Saturday and we had a party for him at Smoovies. There was lots to do for everyone: bounce house, video games, Wii, Dance, Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, Foosball, and Air Hockey. Fun, fun, fun!
